I’m writing this because I wanted to remember how I felt while reading this arc. It’s really frustrating for me to rewatch or re-read some arcs in One Piece because I get a lump in my throat from crying my eyes out. And it hurts… Here’s my review/analysis of Drum Island.
I started reading One Piece around 8 or 9 years ago and occasionally I get this “One Piece craze” where I can’t focus on anything that’s not One Piece. This usually happens when there’s a massive reveal or an epic revelation. To fill my obsession and keep myself under control while waiting for a new episode, I tend to do these 5 things.
There are so many epic moments in One Piece that this list doesn’t even come close to covering every single one of them. This is my best attempt to rank the 100 best most epic moments in One Piece so far.
One Piece has without a doubt some of the saddest, most emotional moments in anime. On the surface it may seem like a happy-go-lucky series about a wacky pirate crew with superpowers, and although I won’t deny that it is, the show has some downright depressing moments and tragic backstories that’s made so many of us bawl out crying. Eiichiro Oda has mastered the art of a backstory throughout the serialisation of One Piece and does a fantastic job of hitting us right in the feels. Here are some of the saddest and most emotional moments in One Piece.
It’s understandable that a series so long, so time consuming can be overwhelming to be invested in. I mean there are so many other great anime that’s only 12 or 24 episodes long. Not to mention there’s so many wacky and goofy looking characters in One Piece that just seem so weird. So is One Piece worth watching??
